Summary
Michael Vey is a very unique kid. He has a syndrome which is called Tourette Syndrome, and people think that he will swear and say bad words. In reality, he just has tics and he moves his eyes and a lot and does weird faces. There is also another reason why he is unique. He can generate electricity and can shock people. He has kept this secret since the time he knew that he could do it. His dad died when Michael was 8 years old due to a heart attack but Michael has still not gotten over it. Because of his electrical powers, Michael and his mom moves a lot. The recent location that they are in is Idaho. When Michael was living there, his only friend was Ostin. Ostin is a nerd and is very smart. He is fat but he always help Michael. He is the only person other than Michael's mom to know that he has electrical powers.
A lot of people have been bullying Michael because of his tics and also because of his skinny body and short height. Two kids named Jack and Wade continuously shove Michael in the locker and they just keep bullying him. Every single time, Michael is sent to the principals office and he gets the blame. He is always going to detention. This time again, Michael gets bullied and jack, wade and mitchell believe that Michael told on them to Mr. Dallstrom, the principal. They corner him and threaten him. Taylor, the cute cheerleader comes and tries to stop them from bullying Michael. Michael then gets so mad he zaps them with his electricity. Because of this, Taylor and Ostin and Michael becomes very good friends. Michael learns that taylor also has powers. Her powers is that she can read people's mind if she is touching them and she can also reboot their mind and make them forget. The one think that makes them very curious is that they were both born around the same day, in the same hospital and in the same city and state. Because of this, Ostin looked on websites and figured out that eleven babies died due to an invention called MEI( Magnetic Electron Induction). Taylor gets kidnapped and so does Michael's mom. Michael wants to save his mom so he asks Jack and wade to drive him to the place where they have kidnapped Taylor. They go there with ostin and then ostin gets sent to prison. Hatch, the founder gives Michael a chance to join him but Michael does not follow his instructions. Michael gets sent to cell 25, a cell where it can call you. He gets out when Hatch allows him to come out. Then he helps Taylor, Ostin and other kids like zeus, McKenna, Ian, Grace, and Abigail. The other children like Tara, Nichelle, and Bryan all escaped with Mr.Hatch. In the end, they figured out that Michael's mom is located in a different place and they all want to go and find her. |
